The Famicom is the Japanese version of the Nintendo Entertainment System. Famicom Carts have 60 pins while US Nintendo cartridges have 76 pins. Most Famicom games will operate on a US Nintendo with an adapter (found in some old nes carts like Gyromite and Excitebike).
